To be eligible, you’ll need to meet some basic criteria relating to your age, Australian Residency status and the nature of your disability.
Some of the basic criteria you will be required to meet will include:
- Be under 65 years of age
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protect Special Category Visa holder
- Be living in Australia
- Have a disability caused by a permanent impairment
- Usually need disability specific supports to complete daily life activities
If you have a child under 9, they will be assessed with different criteria related.
